마하깐 요새는  18 세기 후반에 건설되었으나, 100년 전부터 불법 주택이 들어서  수백 명이 살게 되었다 .  1992년부터 주민 퇴거 조치를 추진하다가 2018년에서야 퇴거가 완료되어 공원으로 조성되었다.

 

마하칸 요새 공원내에 엄청난 크기의 반얀트리가 볼 만하다.

Trok Likay or Phraya Petch Prance Alley used to be a residence of Phraya Petch Prance(tree), an official of Ministry of the Royal Household ans the owner of a musical band that performed musical folk drama. Until 1897, performers in musical folk dramas of Phraya Petch Prance began to wearfull decorated attires. There were changing scenes in which they would start making the welcoming guests more visible. Performers would dress in Malay costumes and sang the blessing songs. The scenes that sets out with foreign languages became a full drama with musical acts. The story lines and plots would be concluded quickly. In addition, they increased volumes of luxurious cistumes imitating the officials in the royal court in the reign of King Rama 5  as the locals prefrrred to see.

Thipsamai(Phad Thai) 태국에서 빼 놓을 수 없는 음식인 팟타이(Phad 볶다, Thai 태국)로 유명한 집. 영업 개시시간은 오후 5시이며 그 이전에는 Take  out만 가능하다. 이곳은 오렌지 쥬스(오렌지를 갈아 만든 쥬스)로도 유명하다.

Raan Jay Fai(란쩨파이 : 70대 중만의 쪠파이가 운영하는 길거리 음식점) 미슐랭스타를 받은 게살오믈렛 음식점. Thipsamai와 바로 옆 집이다.
